Ragusa, 1988. His passion for photography begins at the age of nine. After studying at the artistic high school of Palazzolo Acreide (SR), as a self-taught he participates in various national photographic competitions, immediately obtaining excellent results. In 2012 he won the National Geographic Italia competition which gave him the opportunity to attend a Master in Reportage at the John Kaverdash Academy of Photography in Milan. Finalist at the 10th Edition of the 2015 Arte Laguna International Award and Portfolio Mediterraneum Award on the occasion of the Med Photo Fest 2016. He won first place in the International Photographic Competition organized by Moak “out of focus”. In December 2016 he won the Tokyo International Photo Awards events category. His photos have appeared Traveler by Condè-Nast, Le Figaro Magazine and National Geographic Italia. He has participated in group exhibitions and has staged personal exhibitions. In the provinces of Syracuse; in Catania at the Puglisi Cosentino Foundation, in the Palace of Culture and in the smokestack area on the occasion of the Med Photo Fest 2017. In December 2017 in Osaka in the Italian Cultural Institute with the project “the salt in the eyes”. In May 2018 again in Japan in Fukuoka. In June 2018 he won second place at PX3 – International photography prize in Paris. The award-winning series is exhibited here at the Espace Beaurepaire Gallery. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana commissioned him for the spring-summer 2020 advertising campaign he created in July 2019 at Palazzolo Acreide.
